Overview

The Cantek P20HV 20″ Planer is a compact and economically priced planer with a spiral cutterhead. Its cast iron table and head assembly with a robust welded steel frame result in a superior planing finish through greatly reduced vibration, while the spiral insert knife cutterhead runs extremely quiet with long-lasting, rotatable solid carbide inserts.

• Spiral insert knife cutterhead with replaceable carbide insert knives (132 inserts, 14mm x 14mm x 2mm) for long life and smooth cutting
• Knives can be rotated 90° for a new edge, up to four times before replacement
• Sectional chip breakers
• Serrated sectional infeed roll conforms to material that isn't yet flat
• Anti-kickback fingers for safe operation
• Available in single phase and 3-phase electrics
• 2 feed speeds
• Double bed rolls, conveniently adjusted from the front of the machine to assist with difficult-to-feed material
• Side handwheel with linear scale for table adjustment
• Polyurethane outfeed roll that won't mark material after planing
• Flip-open top lid with limit switch for safe, convenient knife changes
