Overview

The Cantek P24HV is a 24” planer with a spiral insert-knife cutterhead, built for compact, economically priced planing in the small to mid-size shop. The cast-iron table and head assembly with robust welded steel frame reduce vibration for a superior planing finish, while the quiet-running cutterhead's solid carbide inserts can be rotated four times before replacement. Simply rotate a dulled knife 90 degrees for a fresh cutting edge.

• Serrated sectional infeed roll conforms to material that isn't yet flat

• Double bed rolls, adjustable from the front of the machine, assist with difficult-to-feed material
• Side handwheel with linear scale for table adjustment
• Polyurethane outfeed roll that won't mark planed material
• Flip-open top lid with limit switch for safe, convenient knife changes
