Overview
The Freud 3/8" (Dia.) Panel Pilot Bit 28-100 is a carbide-tipped router bit with a 1/4" shank for cutting openings in paneling, siding, sheathing, and wall sheathing. It is also suited to template work, since the pilot acts as a guide and the drill-through point allows self-starting. Freud carbide tips outlast high-speed steel bits many times before sharpening. It cuts hardwood, softwood, plywood, composites, and OSB, and is for use in hand-held routers.
