Overview
The Freud 3/16" Radius Round Nose Bit 18-106 is a Premier Solid Carbide router bit with a 1/4" shank that routs engraved flutes in cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and molding. It is ideal for fluted millwork, signs, and veining, and is a great choice for sign lettering. Sometimes called a "Core Box" bit, it cuts hardwood, softwood, plywood, and composites. It can be used in CNC and other automatic routers as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers.
